OUR COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE, PLANET AND PURPOSE
We’re committed to operating responsibly as a groundworks specialist and to caring for our people, our local communities, and the environment. That commitment sits at the centre of our ESG journey. We work collaboratively across our teams to drive meaningful improvements in how we work, and we’re continually evolving our sustainability roadmap to reduce our long-term impact.

We’ve introduced operational efficiencies to cut waste, improve fleet performance and reduce carbon emissions across our sites. We continue to explore new low-emission and electric vehicle options within our transport and machinery fleet, and we’re actively engaging with suppliers to adopt more sustainable materials and recycling practices. Plans to publish our first Sustainability Highlights Report and expand our environmental partnerships are already underway.

We’re equally dedicated to making a positive social impact within the communities in which we operate. Each year, we provide financial assistance to Hampshire-based charities, events, and causes that benefit families, young people, and vulnerable groups. From supporting local fundraising initiatives and community sports to contributing to vital grassroots organisations and emergency support charities, giving back is part of who we are at TSO Construction. Many of these causes are nominated by our team, helping us focus on what truly matters close to home.

We’re also proud to support education and skills development in our sector by collaborating with local colleges, training providers and employment initiatives. Encouraging new talent into construction — and particularly into groundworks — is key to building a stronger, more sustainable future for our industry and our region.

Our ESG journey is ongoing, and while we’re proud of our progress, we’re even more motivated by the work still ahead. By staying purposeful, people-focused and environmentally aware, we’re committed to building better for Hampshire today and for generations to come.
